
Loudoun County Fair Qualifying Activities for 4-H'ers
In order to exhibit at the Loudoun County Fair, 4-H members are required to participate in at least one of the following activities on a county, district or state level between October 1 and July 15.
A. Active member of one of the following 4-H judging teams and must participate in at least one contest – dairy, dairy bowl, livestock, horse, hippology, poultry, stockmen’s, forestry, land appreciation, meats identification, tractor operations, or parliamentary procedure. (One can participate as an individual in one of these contests and still qualify)
B. 4-H Shooting Education Events
C. 4-H Day Trip to the State Capitol
D. 4-H Public Speaking Contest, 4-H Share the Fun, 4-H Presentation Contest, or 4-H Fashion Revue Contest. (In the competitive events, members can be a participant or Master of Ceremonies)
E. District Contest - as a competitor, room chair, or judge
F. 4-H Summer Camp or 4-H Day Camp you may attend as a counselor or camper)
G. 4-H Congress, Citizenship Washington Focus
H. Active member of the 4-H Teen Council
I. Youth Food Animal Quality Assurance Program, May 12
J. 4-H Officer Training
K. County 4-H Community Service (this is a county wide 4-H event)
L. Publicizing 4-H in the community (examples: parades, festivals and events, all activities must be approved by Extension Agent)
M. Activity approved by the 4-H Agent
